National Education
Goals
- Cultivate students' sense of national identity and enhance their sense of belonging to the nation through knowledge, emotions, and practice.
- Use the four learning domains of nature, history, culture, and contemporary China as the core of national education, and employ diverse teaching strategies to improve students' learning outcomes and promote national education.
- Systematically enhance students' understanding of various aspects of national history, culture, politics, economy, and livelihoods through the four learning domains of national education.
- Based on the subject matter, establish students' values related to national security, such as "national concept," "national identity," "law-abiding concept," "rights and obligations," and "sense of responsibility."

September 2022 | Commemoration of the Victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression | Enable students to learn about the historical knowledge of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, to feel the patriotic spirit of the Chinese military and civilians who defended their homeland during the war, and to cultivate a sense of belonging to the nation and the Chinese people. |
October 2022 | National Day Celebration | Enable students to understand the establishment of the People's Republic of China and cultivate their national identity. |
December 2022 | National Memorial Day for the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre | Enable students to learn about the historical knowledge of the Nanjing Massacre, to feel the patriotic spirit of the Chinese military and civilians who defended their homeland during the war, and to cultivate a sense of belonging to the nation and the Chinese people. |
April 2023 | Anniversary of the Promulgation of the Basic Law | Enable students to learn about the origin of the Basic Law, deepen their understanding of the Basic Law, and cultivate their values as law-abiding citizens. |
National Security Week | Through diverse activities, enable students to deepen their understanding of national security and cultivate their values as law-abiding citizens. | |
July 2023 | Interdisciplinary General Knowledge Quiz Competition | Through cooperation with the General Studies subject, hold a general knowledge quiz competition to strengthen students' understanding of current events in the country. |
Celebration of the Anniversary of Hong Kong's Return | Enable students to learn about and understand the process of Hong Kong's return to China, and cultivate their national identity. |
