Goals
1.Optimize the Mathematics curriculum and use diversified teaching strategies to enhance students' curiosity and interest in learning Mathematics, and promote their learning effectiveness.
2. Introduce Mathematics topics through scenarios and incorporate positive moral concepts to enable students to apply Mathematics knowledge flexibly in their daily lives.
3. Encourage reading of Mathematics books and worksheets, enhance students' interest in learning Mathematics, and encourage them to share with others.
4. Enhance students' Chinese and English language proficiency, provide Mathematics lessons in English for Primary 1 to Primary 4, introduce some English questions in Primary 5 and Primary 6, and teach Mathematics-related English vocabulary.
5. Use different interactive electronic Mathematics platforms and materials to enhance students' learning motivation. Through diversified electronic platforms, students can choose suitable platforms to promote self-learning.
6. Promote Mathematics activities, competitions, and services, add scientific and technological resources, and use different channels to showcase students' outstanding performance.
7. Enhance teachers' professional competence in Mathematics and promote a positive culture, cultivating students' all-round development in emotion, character, and health.

Throughout the year | Olympiad Math Training | Held every Tuesday and taught by external professional tutors, the Olympiad Math Training class is designed for students from Primary 1 to 6 who are interested in mathematics and have outstanding math skills. This program can help students realize their potential. |
Throughout the year | Math Ambassadors | Students from Primary 4 to 6 serve as Math Ambassadors and conduct various math activities with their classmates during break time. This program can enhance students' math knowledge and interest in learning math while providing more opportunities for students to serve and develop their leadership skills and confidence. |
Throughout the year | Mathematics Classes Taught in English | One English-medium mathematics class is offered for each grade from Primary 1 to Primary 4. English mathematical vocabulary is also introduced in the curriculum for Primary 5 and 6. |
February 27 to March 3, 2023 | Mathematics Week | Mathematics Week is a one-week themed learning activity where teachers and students engage in interesting and diverse math activities and teacher-student competitions. This program can help students apply the knowledge learned in class to daily life and increase teacher-student interaction. |
June - July 2023 (Post-Examination Activities) | Inter-school Math Competition | Through "Speed Calculation", "Mental Calculation" and "Computational" competitions, students' calculation abilities, mental arithmetic skills, and computational skills can be improved, enabling them to realize their abilities, build positive values, and solve problems using existing mathematical knowledge. This program can enhance students' positive values and thinking skills. |
